Hello, my name is Delta Martin. I was a student athlete for the University of Indianapolis for 4 years. I ran track and field under the direction of Scott Fangman, Dave Holman and Giles Davis.
I currently live in Indianapolis, In. I work at a Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (located in Fishers, In). I provide one-on-one therapy to children who have been diagnosed with autism. I am also in my final semester of my MBA program here at Tiffin University. Upon graduation, I wish to one day, either work at the NCAA office located in my city that I currently reside in, work for a NCAA institution (related to athletics) and/or coach high school athletics. My goals during my mentorship is to get a better understanding of coaching, There is so much more to coaching than just running workouts. It is mental as well. I plan to get a deeper insight on the basics of coaching and all that comes with it (data entries, running meets, lane assignments, etc.) I feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity to get these tools from my alma mater and from someone I admire and respect, Giles Davis. These next coupe of months, I will work directly under him, Giles Davis (University of Indianapolis, Track & Field Assistant Coach). |
